Hello everyone! I'm gonna tell you the little story that my design has behind the screen.

LINDA PERO FUERTE = CUTE BUT STRONG in spanish, using female gender ("LindA pero fuerte" instead of "LindO pero fuerte")

The other day (depending on when you read it, but at times when I write this) my nephews were at home playing Pokkén Tournament on their WiiU against my boyfriend and me. He chose Gardevoir and my surprised little nephew asks him, "Why do you choose Gardevoir if she's a girl?", And my partner responds "because I like it, any problem? You have also chosen a girl." My little nephew always chosen Masked Pikachu, so he responds very angry, shouting: NO! It's a boy, it's masked Pikachu! "They return to the menu where it is seen that she's ENMASCARADA (Masked girl in spanish, if a word ends at -a usually has female gender), that is, its gender is feminine, and tries to argue its error, saying that the thing masked is its head ("Cabeza enamscarada" instead of "female Pikachu enmascarada") but it is a male Pikachu.
My partner had to explain him that Pikachus according to their sex have shapes of the tail, we know most that the female Pikachu have heart shaped tail, don't we?
We try to make him understand that nothing bad happens because of female Pikachu and he is not a female too. He said something that really bothered us: "Girls do not fight, Pikachu is a fighter." "It's a lie, Pikachu is a boy."
I am only her aunt and I can't argue over him, I should not get into the education of children who are not mine but I feel that I am her family anyway and that I must teach feminist values ​​where I see the first ravages of patriarchal society in a so small child boy, he does not deserve his mind to be ruined from an early age.
What my nephew said is not right, but he is too small to discern these concepts. I want to make him understand that girls and women can be fighters, luchadoras and warriors without giving up our gender. And what better way than through art? I think it is one of the most effective ways for a child to learn a lesson, through something he likes instead of a misunderstood argument he will forget.

¡Hola a todos! Os voy a contar la pequeña historia que tiene el diseño de esta dibujo/camiseta tras la pantalla.
El otro día (dependiendo de cuando lo leas, pero en los momentos en los que escribo esto así es) estaban mis sobrinos en casa jugando al Pokkén Tournament en su WiiU contra mi novio y yo. Él eligió a Gardevoir y mi sobrino pequeño sorprendido le pregunta: “¿Por qué te eliges a Gardevoir si es una chica?”, y mi pareja le responde “porque me gusta, ¿algún problema? Tú también has elegido a una chica”. Mi sobrino pequeño se elige casi siempre a Pikachu Enmascarada, por lo que responde muy enfadado, gritando: ¡NO! ¡ Es un chico, es Pikachu enmascarado!" Vuelven al menú donde se ve que es ENMASCARADA, o sea, que su género es femenino, e intenta argumentar su error, diciendo que enmascarada está su cabeza pero es un Pikachu macho.
Mi pareja tuvo que explicarle que los Pikachus según su sexo tienen la cola de una forma u otra, ya sabemos la mayoría que los Pikachu hembra tienen la cola de corazón desde hace tiempo, ¿no?
Intentamos hacerle entender que no pasa nada porque el Pikachu sea hembra y él no. Dijo algo que nos molestó mucho. “Las niñas no pelean, Pikachu es un luchador”. “Es mentira, Pikachu es un chico”.
Soy sólo su tía y no puedo reñirle en exceso, no me debo meter en la educación de hijos que no son míos pero siento que igual soy su familia y que debo enseñarle valores feministas donde vea yo los primeros estragos de la sociedad patriarcal en un niño tan pequeño que no merece que su mente se contamine así desde tan temprana edad.
Lo que dijo mi sobrinito no está bien, pero él es muy pequeño para discernir de estos conceptos. Quiero hacerle entender que las niñas y las mujeres podemos ser luchadoras, peleonas y las más guerreras sin renunciar a nuestro género. ¿Y qué mejor forma que a través del arte? Creo que es una de las formas más efectivas de que un niño aprenda una lección, a través de algo que le gusta en vez de una reprimenda que olvidará y no entenderá bien.
